We are currently hiring for a Backend Developer with expertise in FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and microservices architecture. Please find the job description below:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas and queries.
• Implement and follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices to ensure high-quality code.
• Build and maintain microservices-based architectures with scalable and modular services.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders for seamless integration.
• Implement security best practices and performance optimizations.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring system stability and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with FastAPI or similar Python web frameworks (Flask, Django).
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including writing complex queries, indexing, and optimization.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Proficiency in Test-Driven Development (TDD) using PyTest or similar frameworks.
• Experience with microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, and service mesh technologies.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and asynchronous programming in Python.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and Agile methodologies.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with GraphQL.
• Exposure to event-driven architecture using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Hands-on experience with API Gateway and rate-limiting techniques.
