The Solution Overview
Kumori addressed the client's implicit challenges by leveraging its existing GDPR product, which is built on the ServiceNow platform. The solution was specifically designed to handle the critical requirements of data privacy and regulation compliance.
Key Aspects of the GDPR Solution
The core of the Kumori solution focused on five essential functions for personal data management. These included the ability to Locate personal data accurately across various organizational systems, enabling an efficient Search function for its retrieval, and implementing features to Minimize data retention by ensuring only necessary information is kept. Furthermore, the solution was built to Protect this sensitive data by employing robust security measures, and to Monitor compliance by providing continuous oversight and tracking mechanisms.
Implementation Plan
Kumori outlined a clear plan for deployment. This plan involved two main components: the Deployment of its GDPR solution paired with necessary professional implementation services, and a comprehensive focus on long-term sustainability. The latter was achieved through dedicated Training and knowledge transfer sessions aimed at empowering the client's Business As Usual (BAU) team to manage and support the solution effectively on an ongoing basis.
